I put some pictures of Jefferson senior Terrence Jones up on the Trillium Media Services website the other day. Let me tell you, this kid can play ball. He’s definitely the best player to come out of the Portland area since Kevin Love graduated from Lake Oswego in 2007. (Love is now in his second season with the Timberwolves in the NBA.)
Jones scored 50 against Cleveland in the game I shot. He’s expected to lead Jefferson to their second straight 5A state championship. Their first playoff game is Saturday against South Albany.
Here’s a bonus picture of Cleveland’s Sam Smiley (right), who led the Warriors with 17 points in their loss. Last night Cleveland lost to Sherwood in the first round of the playoffs.
