Matthew Ginn is an independent visual journalist and photographer based in Portland, Ore. His work has been published in dozens of newspapers from Boston to Portland, and he serves several corporate and private clients.

His life experiences have taken him from the heights of the Andes to thousands of feet below the Precambrian Shield. He has visited 33 U.S. states, nine Canadian provinces, owns four guitars, can get by in three languages and has two left feet. He has yet to see a partridge in a pear tree.

Matthew subscribes to the NPPA Code of Ethics and is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP).
